Spring Camp 2012

Are you sick of your child being glued to the t.v. during their spring break? Why not make spring break an exciting, rewarding experience and enroll them in the Arizona Animal Welfare League & SPCA’s Camp Ruffin’ It (ages 6-8 & 9-12) or Camp Vet (ages 12-14) program! Both camps run March 12-16 and have a variety of activities, games, crafts and LOTS of interaction with both exotic animals as well as the dogs and cats up for adoption at our no-kill shelter.

The theme for Camp Ruffin’ It this spring is “Rescue Safari” where campers go on a safari with AAWL’s Education Department and explore everything from rabbits and ferrets to snakes and iguanas! They will learn about these animals’ wild relatives and how to properly care for them as a pet.

Camp Vet is the perfect experience for young adults interested in veterinary medicine or a future career working with animals. We explore animal anatomy, perform animal examinations, learn from dissections and learn the basics of veterinary medicine.

Class sizes are limited; enroll today! www.aawl.org/spring-camp
